- Thank you so much for being an active and resourceful student; it was a
pleasure having you in my class! I loved reading your discussion posts and
have come to realize that you are a strong and kind woman and mother. Your
kids should be proud of you!
Your final grade in my class is A.
My grades will not all be A’s. In fact, this is the only A that I expect. This is my Women’s Gender & Sexuality Studies class. The topic interested me. I also knew that I had a chance to share experience with younger women. So, I did. I did not, however, think I’d walk away with an A.
I hope to get a B in my math class, and U.S. History class. My writing class, which was taken because one more English class was required, and though it was interesting, was the one where when I got overwhelmed after being sick is the one, I really let go the most. I’m lucky to pull a C in that class.
This quarter I did not get the classes I wanted. Most of them I guess, are not offered in the spring. But, the classes that I did choose fulfills several requirements for the degree. So this quarter I have: Religion & U.S. (History class, & Philosophy class.), History of Russia (required non-U.S. History class), Immigration in the U.S. from 1880. and Math 65.
The immigration class will probably be really fun. But only because I have immigrant gr gr grandparents who came from Denmark after the 1880. They came over in 1885. So, I hope to learn more about why they did that.
I am following my Drs. advice to stay in and not go out unless absolutely necessary. So, I started staying to myself a week before the rest of the country was told to. So far, none of us in my little family is sick. I am grateful. Hopefully, it stays that way. I guess, I’m on week 3 or 4 of this medical house arrest. LOL– it’s not so bad. We have grass to mow, and things to do around the house. I have school starting again in less than a week. The kids keep things busy too. A son and a daughter, both old enough to be 100% independent. One will never be. Who knows how it will go for my youngest. She’s still young–too soon to expect much. She needs to concentrate on her schooling so she can have a better life.
Hope all that happen onto this page are taking good care of themselves and their families. Be safe, love one another — practice kindness. Peg
