Photography 2015

I will add some more photography after I dig it all out. Since this is 2019! LOL
Either way, all photos were taken by me, and copyrighted 2019, to Peggy A. Rowe-Snyder, please do not use without prior written permission. Thanks!

I make our Christmas cards from photos that either Clyde or I have taken. This year it was me who took the photos. Most the time anymore, it is me. This was taken out Cow Creek Road, out from Riddle.

This is not a great photo. But, the sentiment is fantastic. We have had so much fun going all over the back roads in this Jeep. It has taken us across rivers (literally through them), and over ice and snow. It had some problems but it was a good machine. Clyde choose this jeep because it was the closest thing he could find to the military model jeep he drove while in the Army. I did not like Jeeps before meeting him. I thought they were about the ugliest things on earth. But, because it was so much fun going out and investigating our world in, I learned to love Jeeps. The comradery between Jeep people is really cool too! We had to sell the Jeep. We went 'missing' in 2017. We got stuck in about 4-6 inches of snow while driving our Subaru Legacy. It would not have gotten stuck except that we were on a donut. We were 'missing' for three days before Clyde walked 12 miles to get help. Our son and a Jeep full of friends were supposedly out looking for us with our Jeep. Our son has no drivers license. So a friend was driving. The friend decided to test it and see if it could do what it was 'built' to do. We are talking about 25 & 26-year-old 'kids' here. Needless to say, they tore the rear end out, wrecked the spider gears, and trashed the transmission. We put $2K into it before he called it quits. The shop that rebuilt the rear end probably could have told us what else we needed to do, but they told us it was fixed. I would never name names, but don't take your Jeep to Mobile Tune in Roseburg. The memories are good, and we two playmates will find many other ways to play, I am sure.
