Follow the recipe except here:
Use oatmeal instead of bread crumbs (its a straight trade, same amount.
Use some kind of stock instead of water. Try mushroom! Yum!
Use 2 envelopes of the Lipton Onion (boxed) soup.
Mix in 1/3 a cup ketchup, and then spread another (a little less than a 1/3 cup) on top of the meatloaf.
Bake as directed. My husband loved it!!! 🙂
I served it with roasted carrots and baby Bella mushrooms.
Mashed potatos and homemade mushroom gravy (made with baby Bellas).
